Internet Access Disruption Scheduled

Internet access across campus has been scheduled for downtime starting at midnight tonight through 6:00 am tomorrow. This may effect library electronic resources so please plan accordingly. Library Hours for 4th of July Holiday

The Library will close at 5:00 pm this Thursday, July 3rd and be closed on July 4th for the holiday. Normal hours will resume Saturday July 5th.

Update on Blackwell Wiley journals

Linking to former Blackwell titles is not finished. Some links go to an announcement page. From there, use the Search function (left side) for publication titles. Some full text is available for most journals, but many have missing issues. Wiley InterScience is working on this.

Alert! Blackwell & Wiley e-journals not available June 27-June 29.

Blackwell Synergy journal sites are transferring to the Wiley InterScience journal platform this weekend, June 27-June 29. Journals from these two publishers (over 1000 titles for UAMS) will not be available starting 8:00 p.m. CDT Friday June 27 for the Blackwell titles and starting 5:00 a.m. Saturday June 28 for the Wiley InterScience titles. Wiley expects all the journals to be available again after 8:00 p.m. CDT Sunday. Links from the library will still say Blackwell and will go to the new site.

Changes to the public workstations on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd floors.

The workstations on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd floors of the Library have been upgraded to Office 2007. In addition to this the workstations now have the Firefox Internet Browser installed.
